2nd Grade Tour
Our 2nd Grade Tours are so much fun! Everyone is treated
to an awesome performance by the Choraliers (they are all so
talented!), then our visitors are divided into groups to go on a
tour of the school. One of the favorite stops is the biology room
where often they can pet a snake, see a taranchula, and sometimes
even pet the chinchilla (sooo soft!)!
Tour groups are able to walk into the classrooms and see high
school students and teachers in class. Some of the groups are
even able to learn a fun song in Spanish! Other stops can
include the band room (the band sounds awesome!), art room
(sculpture looks like such a fun class!), the fitness center (thre
are so many machines!), and more!
Everyone returns to the Commons for specially made cookies and
milk or water (YUM!), and then it is back into the auditorium.
I love being able to greet each and every 2nd grader when
they come to visit (often, I even get a hug -- check out the
picture on the right!).
Some of our 2nd grade visitors have sent thank-you notes and
drawings, and I enjoyed them so much that I wanted to share some of
them with you!
