About

Welcome to Fox Valley Lutheran HS!

FVL is a Lutheran high school that offers its students a wide variety of experiences and opportunities. While some schools pride themselves on their college prep curriculum, FVL welcomes students of all achievement levels. From our Student Services program to our College Credit capable courses, our teachers strive to bring out the best in our students.

Growth Inside and Outside the Classroom

Education is more than academics. Students need to grow academically, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually. We encourage our students to make the most of their God-given talents and abilities. About 90 percent of our students pursue studies after high school either on the university or technical college level. Others move on to the military or the world of work. Some study to serve in Christian ministry as teachers, staff ministers, or pastors.

Expanding Opportunities

Course offerings have expanded dramatically over the past decade as the facility has grown. FVL STEM Academy has distinguished itself as one of the few in the area to offer all four areas of the Project Lead the Way curriculum: engineering, computer science, aeronautics, and biomedical sciences. Hands-on learning in the Practical and Professional Arts department include numerous Woods and Metals classes along with a partnership on Automotive Repair through Fox Valley Technical College. Over 30 courses are offered that give students the chance to earn college credits.

Cocurricular opportunities abound: sports, school-sponsored clubs, and the fine arts. Working together with coaches and advisors, students enjoy developing their skills and talents in diverse efforts from music, art, puppetry, stagecraft, public speaking, and much more...even competitive trap shooting!

International Connection

What's more, FVL provides students with the chance to meet fellow students from around the world. Each year about 50 international students attend classes and share our culture while we learn about theirs. Young people from Europe, Asia, South America, and more are represented. What a blessing!

Leaders for the Future

Preparing our students to become future leaders in our church and community is important at FVL. Thanks to all our many friends and alumni who make this ministry possible! To God be the glory!
