Graduation Requirements

These minimum requirements are set to insure that every FVL student receives a sound basic education while taking into account the varied abilities which God has given to each individual. Beyond these requirements, students choose courses with their interests and career plans in mind.

  • English: 4 credits
  • Fine Arts: 1 credit
  • Health: 0.5 credit
  • Physical Education: 1.5 credits
  • Mathematics: 2 credits
  • Religion: 4 credits
  • Science: 2 credits (Biology required)
  • Social Studies: 3 credits (U.S. history and U.S. Government required)
  • Technical Education: 0.5 credit
  • Electives: 4-12 credits

24 total credits required (exceptions for transfer students)

NOTE: For a class to be counted for credit, a passing grade of D- or better must be achieved.
