Tuition Payments

The cost of educating each student at Fox Valley Lutheran High School is approximately $8,100 for the current school year. Members of FVLHS Federation congregations support this high school ministry with regular gifts that reduces this cost for member students.

June Tuition Mailing

Each family receives their tuition invoices in June. This statement lists tuition costs along with any assistance granted and fees applied. Any discrepancies should immediately be reported to the FVL Business Office. The first payments are due in July of each year.

Payment Options

  1. Full payment: all tuition and fees paid by July 31 ($50 discount per student)
  2. Semi-annual payments: the first half of tuition and all fees by July 31 with the second half of tuition paid by January 15.
  3. Monthly electronic payments: Payments are processed by FACTS company. A one-time $38 fee is charged each year for each family. The payor may choose to have payments withdrawn from the account of their choice on either the 5th or 20th of each of 10 months beginning in July. With advance notice, a payment amount may be skipped for one month or the amount may be changed for a particular month to make use of a tax refund or reflect an emergency. The FACTS charge for missed payments is $35. Your bank may have additional charges.

Payment options must be selected in May of each year. For returning students, the FACTS plan chosen for the previous year will be assumed unless the Business Office is notified. Remember you can also use the Scrip program for tuition credit.

The following fees are added to the tuition invoice: Student planner (required) $6 & Student Yearbook $35

(If students do not wish to receive a yearbook, the FVL Business Office must be notified at the time of the first payment.)

  2. Transcripts, yearbooks, report cards, and diplomas are withheld until tuition has been paid in full.
  3. Tuition amounts still due on June 30 will be charged interest beginning July 1 (Interest rats is 6% APR).
  4. Final grades and transcripts are also withheld until any library fines, food service fees, textbook fines, and any other financial obligations to the school are satisfied.
  5. Students with unpaid obligations are not allowed to enroll for a new term until arrangements have been made with the Business Office for these payments.
  6. If full payment or semi-annual tuition payments are not made by the due date, a $25 late fee will be added each month that the payment is late.

Change of Address/Church

Please advise the FVL Office when a change of address or church affiliation takes place. When a Federation family has a change in church membership or home address which decreases the tuition rate, a new billing will be sent effective the first day of the month when the move occurred. When the change increases the tuition rate, the new rate is effective the first day of the month following the move.

Refunds

If a student transfers to another school during the school year, a refund of overpayment will be made. The refund is calculated per diem.
