Needed Renovations
FVL has been blessed with an amazing facility which has been
well-used over the last eleven years. While our school and
grounds are still very new in many ways, our track is showing its
age. 
After over a year of study, it was decided to replace our current
asphalt track with a rubberized artificial running surface.
This all-weather surface will benefit the health of our athletes -
reducing the risk of injuries. Another factor was the deteriorating
condition of the track. To put off the renovation to the future
would have meant significantly greater expense because of the need
to replace both the asphalt and add the new rubberized
surface. The facilities of all our other conference members
now feature a similar all-weather surface.
These newly renovated facilities will give FVL the exciting
opportunity to host major track events including Conference,
Regional, and Sectional meets.
Improvements
- Resilient surface runways for all jumping and vaulting
events
- New walkways on the south and northwest
ends of the facility
- 9-lane resilient surface track
- New shot put sector area
- New jumping pits
How Can We Help?
To meet the track team's promised commitment,
we need to raise $30,000 in support of the new installation.
