This program is an outreach of Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The purpose is "to teach players the basic skills of tackle
football, teamwork, and good sportsmanship under the leadership of
Christian coaches while enjoying the fellowship of other Christian
athletes." A Youth Football Board handles all of the operations of
the program.

Thanks to everyone who braved the cold wet weather on
Monday for the FVL Grade School Cross Country
Invitational!
We had our best turnout yet with over 190 runners registered for
the meet from 13 schools.
Congratulations to the following teams on their first place
finishes:
- St. Mark, Green Bay - Girls 3-5 1600M
- St. Mark, Green Bay - Boys 3-5 1600M
- Immanuel, Greenville - Girls 6-8 2300M
- St. Mark, Green Bay - Boys 6-8 2300M
Awards
Medals are awarded to each grade (3-8) and gender for places 1 to
5 and ribbons for places 6 to 12 plus participants. Four team
trophies are also awarded, one for each division. Awards will
be sent home by courier from FVL to each school.

Soccer - Boys & Girls
Activity - Annual Soccer Tournament at FVL

On Saturday, September 29th, 13 FVL Federation grade
schools sent their soccer teams to FVL to compete for the
9th annual FVL Soccer Tournament title. Thanks to
those schools who participated for making it possible for your
student-athletes to spend a few hours on our FVL campus. It
was a beautiful, sun-filled day with some excellent
competition.
We played a pool play format with the
winner of each pool determined by points awarded for wins, ties,
goals and shutouts. Congratulations to our three
champions: Pool A Champion - Mt. Olive,
Appleton; Pool B Champion - St. Mark, Green Bay; Pool C
Champion - Martin Luther, Oshkosh.
Thanks to all our participating
schools: Trinity, Neenah; St. Paul, Green Bay; Immanuel,
Greenville; Mt. Olive, Appleton; St. Peter, Freedom; St. Mark,
Green Bay; Martin Luther, Neenah; Bethlehem, Hortonville; Emanuel,
New London; St. Paul, Appleton; Immanuel, Waupaca; Martin Luther,
Oshkosh; and St. Peter, Weyauwega.
Thanks to all the soccer players,
parents and coaches from our grade schools and from FVL who made
this awesome day possible. Special thanks to Steve Lecker for
getting the fields ready and the Fans of the Foxes for providing
the concessions for the tournament.

The FVL Foxtrotters program is a tournament basketball program
to assist our WELS students with improving their basketball skills
while engaging in fellowship with other area WELS young men.
Tryouts will be held to place athletes on the teams from grades
5-8.

Nothin' but Net (Booster Club for FVL Girls' Basketball Program)
is holding tryouts for 2012-2013 season. Tryouts are for girls in
5-8th grade who are interested in attending Fox Valley Lutheran and
learning the fundamentals of the girls' basketball program. Tryouts
are on October 7 and October 14. Please attend both days.

- Monday, February 4th through Monday, March 25th
- Meet every Monday and Thursday from 5:45 to 7:00 p.m. at
FVL.
- Will NOT meet Thursday, February 21st. (We plan to be coaching
at the state tournament)
- Cost is $30.
- Cost includes entry into 2 tournaments, that we will go to as a
club, and a team t-shirt.
- Parent involvement at practice and tournaments is encouraged
and appreciated.
