Course Descriptions & Planning


Fox Valley Lutheran High Schools offers a full range of courses to prepare its students for the world of college, ministry or work. 

The following graduation requirements have been set to insure that every student receives a sound basic education while taking into account the varied abilities which God has given to each individual. Beyond these requirements, students choose courses with their interests and career plans in mind. Many FVL students exceed these minimum requirements.

Religion: 4 credits English: 4 credits
Fine Arts: 1 credit Health: 0.5 credit
Physical Education: 1.5 credits Technical Education: 0.5 credit
Basics*: 9 credits Mathematics: 2 credits
Science: 2 credits (Biology required)    Electives: 4-12 credits
Social Studies: 3 credits
(American History 
& American Government
required)
For credit to be received, 
a passing grade of at least D-
must be achieved.

Total credits required = 24
