Alumni Alive is FVL's alumni society, governed by volunteer representatives from the majority of graduating classes. The group oversees special events and appeals touching the interest areas of alumni and supports the school with special projects such as the new security system.
The Bargain Garden is a thrift store located at 337 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Appleton. A separately incorporated entity, the shop resells donated items and is staffed by volunteers from Federation churches. Ninety percent of the store's net proceeds go to special FVL projects.
The Fans of the Foxes support FVL's sports program. The group is open to anyone interested. Fans of the Foxes provide workers for athletic events and concession areas. They also sponsor a variety of athletic events for Federation grade school students and an annual softball tournament. Fans of the Foxes has enriched the sports program by building the concession stand, press box, and providing uniforms and equipment for various teams.
FVL Friends is FVL's newest support group. Begun in February, 1993, these "friends" provide significant gifts in support of the school's operating budget. An annual gathering is help each fall to share the "good news" of this group's work with new members.
Ladies Guild is a woman's group interested in supporting the ministry of FVL's parents and grandparents of students and graduates comprise the group. Monthly activities featuring a program and/or service projects are generally held the third Tuesday of every month September-May. The Ladies Guild sponsors a gathering for freshman parents, a Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Afternoon as well as serving for various gatherings throughout the year. In the past, Ladies Guild has helped finance stage curtains, a chapel organ, copy machine, and many other important school needs. They also provide an annual scholarship to a senior pursuing training at Martin Luther College.
The Music Associates support FVL's music programs--choral and instrumental. Providing volunteers for different music events and sponsoring Winterfest are the concerns of this group. Music Associates donate supplies, equipment, and instruments, gowns and uniforms, and helps fund tours.
