FVL Middle School Band Directors


 
Mr. Charles Jahnke is the administrator of the FVL Middle School Band Program.  He directs the Senior Winds, the most accomplished band.  Mr. Jahnke earned his B.A. from UWGB in 1985 with a major in Communication of the Arts.  In 1996 he received his Master of Music Education from Vander Cook University in Chicago.  He holds a public instruction license in instrumental music and  general music for Pre-K - 12th grade and in choral music for 7th - 12th grade.  He received his WELS certification from Dr. Martin Luther College. He is a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Green Bay.
Mrs. Amy Nogar is the director of Wind Ensemble, the middle-level band.  She received a Bachelor of Music Education from Valparaiso University in Indiana and was a general music teacher in St. Louis before moving back to the Fox Cities.  Mrs. Nogar is a member of Mt. Olive in Appleton and currently operates an in-home daycare center.
Mr. Robert Kramer directs the Cadet Band. This is the beginners' band made up of mainly 5th and 6th graders.  Mr. Kramer has been a part of the FVL Middle School Band program for the past 6 years.  He holds a B.S. degree in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College and a Master of Music Conducting from the American Band College of Southern Oregon University.  He is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Greenville, and teaches 6th grade at their elementary school.
