School Policy - Lunch/Food Service Program
FVL offers a breakfast and lunch program. The food service program is operated by a food management company. To participate in these programs, parents must make on-line payments by way of, Skyward Family Access. Students can then use their FVL ID card like a debit card to make purchases. A minimum deposit of $20 is required at the beginning of the year to open a student account. Student ID cards are taken from the students if their accounts fall below $0 and are returned to the student when the account has a positive balance. Balances must be brought up to a minimum of $10.
Students may bring a lunch from home. Microwaves and snack machines are available in commons. Soda, chips, and candy machines are closed during the lunch periods. Juice and fruit machines are always open. Food and beverages are to be consumed in commons only. No food deliveries are allowed during the school day. Students are not permitted to leave campus for lunch, even with a note from a parent.
