Phy Ed
Physical Education
Our bodies are a gift from God! Physical education courses at FVL help students learn best practices for lifetime health, including physical activity, injury prevention, mental wellness, and diet and nutrition.
Requirements
- 2 credits required for graduation (Must include Health or College Health)
- All Physical Education classes are semester courses. Any class may be taken regardless of past or current sports activity participation.
Physical Education Spaces
Students put their physical education learning into practice in spaces designed to support movement, fitness, and wellness. The Timothy Trout Sports Center, gyms, fitness facilities, and outdoor areas provide opportunities for students to develop skills, participate in activities, and build healthy habits.
For students interested in competitive opportunities beyond physical education classes, learn more about FVL athletics, teams, and participation opportunities on our Athletics page.
