PPA-BUSFA-Personal Finance (PFIN)

This course is designed to help students develop an understanding of money management techniques, saving and investing options, insurance, personal lifestyle goals and objectives, decision-making processes, and career choices. Topics also include budgeting, banking services, college and career decisions, credit, identity theft, taxes, car buying, and housing options. Students participate in a budget challenge and stock market game.  Students are required to complete a career exploration project.

Recommendation: A practical, hands-on course especially for those who will soon be living on their own

Required: Beginning with the Class of 2028, Personal Finance or College Personal Finance is required for graduation.
