PPA-BUSFA-Computer Applications (COMAP)

Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

This is a semester elective for all grades. Students will develop advanced word processing skills such as mail merge techniques and insertion of pictures and charts into documents. Students also will learn to enhance their presentations with various techniques such as adding animation. Students will be introduced to spreadsheets with emphasis on formulas, chart creation, and sorting/filtering techniques. Students will be introduced to graphic design by creating a variety of publications including a trifold brochure. The internet will be used extensively.
