Dual enrollment is offered at a cost of $320 for three credits. The comparable college course is HIS 102.

This dual-credit course, offered in partnership with Wisconsin Lutheran College, covers U.S. history from Reconstruction through the end of World War II in 1945. Designed for highly motivated students with strong time management skills, the class emphasizes advanced reading, writing, and analysis of primary source documents. Students will engage with a challenging college-level textbook and are expected to commit two to three hours of work outside class for every hour in class. Regular attendance and active participation are essential.
Prospective students should thoughtfully evaluate their schedules, balancing academic, extracurricular, and personal responsibilities before enrolling in dual-credit courses.

  • Prerequisite:  3.25 cumulative GPA
  • Recommendation: highly motivated, college-bound juniors or seniors with a strong interest in US History
