ENG - Creative Writing (CRTWRT)

This semester course is designed to develop creative writing skills of short stories of many different genres. Students will study various techniques and implement them in their own short story writing. Short story genres may include historical fiction, action, romance, science fiction, fantasy, mystery and horror/thriller/suspense. Emphasis will be on technical grammatical skills and formation of new and varied vocabulary usage. All students are required to read their own short stories aloud to the class.
