ENG-World Literature (WORLIT)

This elective semester course delves into world literature by focusing on short stories and primary sources from non-American writers. The course is organized thematically to highlight universal themes and diverse cultural perspectives. Students will read, analyze, and discuss texts, as well as engage in creative and critical writing assignments. In the course, students will appreciate diverse literary traditions and cultural perspectives, analyze literary elements and narrative techniques and understand the historical and cultural contexts of global literature.

Prerequisite: LA2 or ALA 2
