This course reviews basic real number operations including fractions, integers, radicals, and exponents. Students also learn to work with variables in linear, quadratic and other simple types of functions. This includes simplifying, factoring, and evaluating expressions and solving and graphing various types of equations, inequalities, or systems. This class completes all of Algebra 1A and 1B in one year to set a strong foundation for future classes such as Algebra 2 with Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus for the college-bound student.
