This course emphasizes solving and graphing linear, quadratic, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic equations with minimal exposure to sequences and series. In addition, units about matrices, conic sections, trigonometry, and probability/stats are included. This course uses a more in-depth and rigorous approach than the other level of Algebra 2 with the goal of increasing students’ ability to reason abstractly and to think critically so that they are prepared for higher level courses.
