Dual enrollment option is offered at a cost of $315 for three credits. The comparable college course is HEALTH 106.
This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge to improve or maintain health and wellness throughout the lifespan. Emphasis will be placed on the seven dimensions of wellness and how the information relates to the individual, the community, classroom, and client. In addition, the student will explore and identify the social and interpersonal factors of health that contribute to the development of individual value systems, goals, and health-related decisions.
- Prerequisite: Student must be age 16 sometime in the semester they are taking this course.
- Required: Yes
- Note: This course may be taken in addition to Health for PE graduation credit.
