This course is designed to help students develop an understanding of money management techniques, saving and investing options, insurance, personal lifestyle goals and objectives, decision making processes and career choices. Topics also include: budgeting, banking services, credit, identity theft, taxes and housing. Students participate in a stock market game and also go on a field trip to participate in a budgeting simulation called Reality Check. Students are required to job shadow someone in the career they plan to work in.
