PPA-BUSFA - Accounting (ACCT)

As the introductory accounting course that introduces the basic framework of accounting. It exposes accounting students to underlying accounting concepts and constraints and helps them in the preparation of financial records, financial statements, and analysis of the major financial statements. Students play the Monopoly game the last week of class and do the financial accounting for it. They also to take a field trip to an accounting firm in town.
Students are prepared for job entry or college-level work.
