PLTW Engineering Pathway
Aerospace Engineering is the study of engineering disciplines which develop new technologies for use in aviation, aeronautics, and space exploration.
The course explores the evolution of flight, physics and fundamentals of flight, navigation and control, aerospace materials, propulsion, space travel, orbital mechanics, and related careers. The course makes regular use of data analysis and interpretation, mathematics, and documentation of the design process.
- Prerequisite: Grade 10 and successful completion of Engineering Essentials or Grades 11-12
- Recommendation: Students interested in engineering and following the FVL STEM Academy Engineering pathway
