SCI - Environmental Science I: Earth Systems and Human Impacts (ENSC1)

This course explores Earth systems and resources with a focus on land and water use, energy, atmospheric pollution, and climate change. Emphasis is placed on scientific analysis of human impacts and sustainable solutions. Christian stewardship is a primary perspective in the study of these topics.

  • Recommendation: This course emphasizes conceptual understanding and practical applications rather than extensive mathematical calculations. It should not be used as an alternative to Chemistry or Physics for the college bound student who is capable of average or above average performance in science. It can be taken in addition to Chemistry and Physics.
  • Note: This course may not satisfy the lab science requirements of some colleges.
  • Required: No
