This class consists of a study of mechanics (acceleration, force, motion, energy, Newton’s laws, and momentum), using laboratory work, activities, and demonstrations, advancing from concept-based understanding to math applications.
Prerequisite: C or better in Physical Science and Biology, completed or concurrent enrollment in Algebra 2 (or instructor’s consent).
Recommendation: College bound
Required: No
Note: Students cannot take both Physics and College Physics
