Dual enrollment option is offered at a cost of $400 for four credits. The comparable college course is Biology 105.
College Biology is an introductory biology course for the highly motivated student that will expose the students to several fields of biology, including, but not limited to: ecology, cell biology, genetics, and evolution. The course will be taught with a focus on biological interactions, everyday life application, and will have an emphasis on the characteristics shared by all living organisms. The class covers the same material as many first semester college biology courses, with additional topics included.
- Prerequisite: Students must have 1 credit in Biology, a B or higher grade in all previous math and science courses, a cumulative 3.25 GPA, or instructor's consent. Additionally, an Application for Course Admission must be submitted to the student's Guidance Counselor.

- This class is designed for students who want to:
- Study a life science in college (biology, zoology, botany, microbiology, bacteriology, oncology, environmental studies)
- Enter the medical field (doctor, nurse, pharmacist, clinical lab science, veterinarian)
- Go into biochemistry
- Work with wildlife or the natural environment
- Study food science or agriculture
- Complete their life science/general science
