Dual enrollment option is offered at a cost of $440 for four credits. The comparable college course is Biology 105.
College Biology is an introductory biology course for the highly motivated student that will expose the students to several fields of biology, including, but not limited to ecology, cell biology, genetics, and evolution. This course will focus on biological interactions, everyday life application, and will have an emphasis on the characteristics shared by all living organisms. The class covers the same material as many first semester college biology courses, with additional topics included.
- Prerequisite: Students must have 1 credit in Biology, a B or higher grade in all previous math and science courses, a cumulative 3.25 GPA or instructor’s consent. Additionally, an Application for Course Admission must be submitted to the student’s guidance counselor.
