SCI - Astronomy (ASTRON)

This course studies Earth’s orbit and interaction with our moon, our sun, the planets of our solar system, stars, and galaxies. There will be several evening observation sessions. The creation account and a young earth are primary perspectives in the study of these topics.
- Prerequisite: none
- Recommendation: This class is less difficult than Chemistry or Physics. It should not be used as an alternative to Chemistry or Physics for the college-bound student who is capable of average or above-average performance in science. It can be taken in addition to Chemistry and Physics
- Required: No
- Note: This course may not satisfy the lab science requirements of some colleges.
