The emphasis of this course is on the principles of democracy and how it is applied in the federal government framework. Students will also take the required Citizenship test to comply with graduation requirements for the state of Wisconsin.

Note: Students planning to take Economics and another social studies course during their senior year are allowed to take US Government during the junior year.
