WL-Latin 1 (LAT1)

This introduction to the Latin language emphasizes basic vocabulary, grammar and forms needed to read and write simple sentences in Latin.  It includes the study of Roman history and culture using simplified accounts of mythology and historical events. An additional focus of this class is an emphasis on the cognitive skills associated with learning in general.
