Phy Ed and Athletic Facilities

Physical Education

Our bodies are a gift from God! Physical education courses at FVL help students learn best practices for lifetime health, including physical activity, injury prevention, mental wellness, and diet and nutrition.

Requirements

  • 2 credits required for graduation (Must include Health or College Health)
  • All Physical Education classes are semester courses. Any class may be taken regardless of past or current sports activity participation.

Athletic Facilities

FVL Large Gym

FVL's facilities include two gyms, phy ed and team locker rooms, Fitness Center, and the Timothy Trout Sports Center. The gyms are outfitted with with top quality wood floors, and the bleachers in the large gym can seat 1,800 spectators! 

Outside, FVL also has an all-weather track, as well as fields for football, soccer, baseball, and softball.
