Drawing, painting, sculpting, and visiting museums and exhibits are a few of the ways in which the FVL art students are encouraged to explore, develop and refine their God-given artistic talents and abilities. Our art program assists students in developing visual expression and thought, helps to increase an awareness of and appreciation for art, and serves as a foundation for further study in the field of art.

Students at FVL have a variety of performance opportunities through participation in choir and band. Our students have had the privilege of participating in daily chapel and area worship services, national and regional music festivals, and several concerts during the school year.
Students experience the joy of sharing their talents and abilities to the glory of God while developing creativity, musical knowledge and understanding, and developing an appreciation of music through performance.
FVLHS offers three curricular choirs that meet daily - A Cappella Choir, Women's Choir, and Men's Choir - as well as an extracurricular show choir, Choraliers. During the year the Choral Program maintains an active performance schedule by offering five major concerts, assisting in leading worship both on campus and at many FVL Federation churches, and participating in various music festivals and contests. The Choral Program is under the direction of Mr. Dan Vogel.

The heart of the instrumental music program at FVL is the Symphonic Band, a curricular band which rehearses daily. The Symphonic Band studies medium to advanced band literature and ensemble techniques, and also performs in several concerts each year. All members of the Symphonic Band are also in the FVL Marching Band and Pep Band. All band members participate annually in the WSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival, with 75% or more advancing to the State Solo Ensemble each year. Interested students participate in the co-curricular Jazz Ensemble, which participates in an annual jazz festival and a spring concert.
Over half of our band students also participate in the award-winning Lutheran Vanguard of Wisconsin, a summer field show and parade marching band comprised of students from nine WELS high schools in the state of Wisconsin.

Each year students participate in two stage productions at Fox Valley Lutheran. Fall has seen an eclectic mix of productions, keeping our performers and our audience on their toes! In the Spring our performances rotate between a musical and children's theatre.
Along with acting, students have the opportunity to be involved in directing, as well as being a part of the technical crew.
