Student Success Program
Fox Valley Lutheran High School believes students of all ability levels can succeed. The Student Success Program supports both special education students and students who do not yet have documented disability but are significantly below their peers.

Special Needs Scholarship Program
Fox Valley Lutheran High School entered the Special Needs Scholarship Program in the fall of 2020. This program allows students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP), an Individual Services Plan (ISP), or a Private School Services Plan (PSSP) to attend FVL on a state scholarship. The scholarship also allows additional funding for the school to provide support for students with disabilities. In addition to an IEP, ISP, or PSSP, students in the Special Needs Scholarship Program also have an Agreement of Services Plans.
Accommodation Plan
Students who need support but do not have an IEP, ISP, or PSSP can make use of an Accommodation Plan. Candidates will be determined by the Student Success Program Director, feedback from previous teachers/schools, the students' parents, and testing results. Students can “graduate” from this program based on performance, and an agreement between the parents, student, and Student Success Program Director. If more support is needed for a student, a special education evaluation will be recommended. Accommodation Plans are internal plans and don’t guarantee the use of accommodations on standardized tests or post-secondary.
Accommodation Plans Offer . . .
- Limited accommodations
- Modified courses
- Math (Grades 9-12)
- ELA (Grades 9-12)
- Student Success Study Hall (1 or 2 per student)
- Homework tracking and assistance
- Organizational support through the use of our Planner and Google classroom
- Training in study skills
504 Plans
Students who enter with 504 Plans will have an Accommodation Plans during their time at FVL. If the 504 Plan was the result of a special education re-evaluation, or recommended by a physician, the student will have access to their documented accommodations for standardized testing and post-secondary education
