• ENGLISH

  FVL uses i-Ready, to help place students into English classes. If your child's school does not use the i-Ready test, please plan on having him/her take the test at FVL.
  
  In some cases, other testing data may be submitted in lieu of the i-Ready. Please email the alternate results to your child's academic advisor to see if the test qualifies.

• MATH
  Students wishing to bypass Algebra 1 and enroll in Geometry or higher must take the Math Diagnostic Test at FVL.
  
  Students who do not attend a Federation School (listed in the accordion tab below) must take the test regardless of course level.

Optional Spanish Placement Testing

Families at the schools listed below should follow the recommendations and instructions in the letter that they receive from their middle school Spanish teacher.

• St. Mark, Green Bay
• St. Paul, Appleton
• St. Paul, Green Bay
• St. Peter, Appleton

All other students wishing to bypass Spanish 1 and be scheduled directly into Spanish 2, must take the Spanish Placement Test at FVL.

Log in to your student's Skyward Family Access Account to be able to complete STEPS 13 & 14

Families will be emailed (in the summer newsletter) when access is available

• As of mid to late July, Skyward Family Access is updated for the new school year. You will be emailed when you can log into Skyward Family Access to view your child's information.
• Please use Google Chrome or Firefox. Microsoft Edge is not recommended.
• If you are new to FVL or have forgotten your password, go to the Skyward Family Access page and follow the login steps.
• All new families must log in with the same email address that was used for the online application.  
• Returning families should use their existing password.

All meal service payments are through e-Funds.

Complete the Handbook Agreement before Orientation Day

Log in to your Skyward Family Access account to complete the Handbook Agreement (not compatible with mobile devices). You will be notified when this is ready - it is usually in mid-July.  Please use Google Chrome or Firefox. Microsoft Edge is not recommended.

This must be completed before the first day of athletic practice or Orientation Day (whichever comes first for your child).

Required for Athletes

All students in athletics must:

• sign required paperwork. Links will be available in your Skyward Family Access account in mid to late July.
• have a physical on file at FVL by the first day of tryouts/practice
• All students interested in athletics must have a physical on file at FVL. 
• If your child's physical was April 1, 2026 or later, the physical requirement is met.
• If your child's physical is dated between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, an alternate year card must also be completed.

Submit Your First Tuition Payment by July 31

• All families are to receive their tuition invoice by the last day of June. If your invoice does not arrive, kindly contact Mrs. Tammy Fick.
• The first payment deadline is July 31. If full payment is made by July 31, families receive a 3% discount of their net billable tuition.

Log in to your Skyward Family Access account after July 31 to see your student's tentative class schedule.

Family Home Visit

A faculty member (who will be your child's Mentor for all four years of high school) will make contact by mid-August to set up an appointment for a visit with you and your student.
