Hosting an International Student
INFORMATIONAL EVENT APRIL 23
Have you ever wondered about being a host family?
Whether you have a list of questions or don't know what to ask, we are having an informational meeting on Thursday, April 23 at 7:00 PM in the Media Center. You can get your questions answered and find out about what it means to be a part of the International program at FVL.
- Enter the building through the Tower (Door A), and follow the signs to the Media Center.
- Contact Monica Uhlenbrauck (muhlenbrauck@fvlhs.org) with questions.

Why do families choose to host?

Families host for a wide variety of reasons. At the center is the desire for the family to open its home to an individual who might otherwise never have the chance to learn of their Savior. Other reasons for hosting include learning of other cultures or participating in an exciting new experience.
If you have questions, please review the frequently asked questions below, or contact our International Program Director (contact information is below) for further information.

Hear from hosts and students about the experience!
The International Student Program at Fox Valley Lutheran H.S. is the direct result of host families who open their homes to students from all over the world. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn about other cultures and share their Christian faith.
