ACT Aspire Test
New Process for the spring 2018 test!
All 8th graders are asked to take the ACT Aspire computer-based test even if you are undecided on where you will attend high school. Many 8th graders will be taking the ACT Aspire test at their FVL Schools grade school.
If your child is not taking the ACT Aspire at their school, please register your child for the text being held at FVL on Saturday, April 28.
If your child is taking the text at thier school, please have the results forwarded to FVL.
DATE - Saturday, April 28, 2018
TIME - the test goes from 9:00 AM - 12:45 PM (Please arrive at 8:45 AM)
LOCATION - Fox Valley Lutheran High School (Use entrance G - back of the building by soccer fields)
COST - Fox Valley Lutheran High School will be covering the cost of the test

What is the ACT Aspire test?
It is a part of the overall ACT assessment program. It attempts to assess the basic academic achievement level of 8th graders in the areas of English, mathematics, and reading. The assessment data will be helpful for course placement at FVL, career planning, and study skills development. The results are only used for FVL course placement and are not reported to colleges.
Why does my child have to take the ACT Aspire test?
The results will give us a clear picture of what classes are going to be most beneficial to your child.

The testing location is Fox Valley Lutheran High School
What should my child bring to the ACT Aspire test?
- Hand-held calculator
- Two #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
- Bottle of water
- Snack to consume during the short break
