Placement Tests
Your child's success is important to us! To help achieve placement in the appropriate class, several placement tests are recommended or required.
If the scheduled dates and times for the FVL Placement tests in math, English, or Spanish don't work for your family, please contact Mrs. Laura Gucinski (920-560-5186) to make other arrangements.
English Placement
Students from Federation schools will be placed by teacher recommendation. All other students must take this placement test.
- DATE/TIME in 2022 - June 2 (9AM), June 7 (11 AM)
- No registration needed, test is approximately 1 hour

Math Diagnostic
Students attending a Federation School (listed in the accordion tab below) will take this test at their school. All other students are required to take this test at FVL in June.

- No registration needed, test is approximately 1 hour

Spanish Placement
This test is only required for students who wish to bypass Spanish 1 and be scheduled directly into Spanish 2.
- DATE/TIME in 2022 - June 2 (11 AM), June 7 (10 AM)
- No registration needed, test is approximately 1 hour

Student Services
Students who have an active Individual Education Plan, Individual Services Plan, or 504 Plan, may benefit from further testing to create a successful individualized plan for the student. This testing is completed in late May into June and is done on a 1:1 basis. Please contact Mrs. Sara Zuberbier to schedule testing.
MATH, ENGLISH, or SPANISH Placement Tests
- Enter through the Tower Entrance, and follow the signs to the Media Center (library).
- Students may take more than one test on the same day.
- Students may bring pencils, eraser, non-graphic calculator, and water bottle.
- Parents are welcome to wait in Commons (cafeteria area) at FVL during the test.
- If students complete the test before the time is up, they may leave.
After the Test
- Results will be posted on Skyward Family Access as of July 31.
- If students are approved to advance to the higher level course, parents may choose to not take that option for their child.
