Inside FVL
Gymnasiums, science labs, music rooms, art rooms, and the welding shop are some of the stops on the tour when families come to visit our campus. We know that an in-person visit is not always an option, which can make choosing a high school an even bigger challenge. It helps to be able to see classes in action, to walk through the halls, and to talk to instructors or students
We're offering the next-best thing to a tour — our Inside FVL video series provides a brief introduction to many aspects of our campus and classes, and you'll get to meet a few of our teachers too.

Get involved!
FVL students have opportunities to participate, volunteer, and hone talents and abilities through a variety of activities.
Our athletics program includes football, ice hockey, and tennis (to name a few). Students who are interested in business, arts or electronics will want to take a look at our cocurriculars page. Clubs and groups include Future Business Leaders of America, Peer Leadership Group, eSports, Book Club, and Outdoor Club (You should take a look!). Most of our student body is involved in at least one cocurricular activity, and the majority of them participate in more than one.
Our photos share a glimpse of what our students get to do on campus in classes and with friends. We've also included images of the beautiful building and campus that we are blessed to call home.

Student Life
FVL provides students a Christ-centered education
preparing teens for lives of service and for eternity.
Future Business Leaders of America is just one of FVL's many
after school activities. Students get to prepare presentations &
compile research on a variety of topics and present them to their peers.
The Polar Plunge is just one of the many ways students can
get involved in their community throughout the year.
Students enjoy a number of dress-up and spirit weeks
throughout the year, including Welcome Back Week,
Homecoming Week, and Christmas Week.
FVL students have been able to travel all over the world
on faculty-led summer trips.
The annual ski trip over Christmas break
allows students and faculty to enjoy recreation
in God's beautiful (and cold) creation!
Peer Leadership Week in February gives seniors
and freshmen the opportunity
to get to know each other and participate in a week of fun activities!
FVL hosts around 50 international students each year!
These students have fun events every month to bond
with each other and their American friends.
Swing dancing and phy ed class?
There are many options for students to fill this requirement,
including bowling, pickleball, skating, and more!
FVL Pride Day rounds out many Dress-Up Weeks,
allowing students to break out their maroon and gray!
Frolic, the talent show before celebrating Homecoming and Prom,
is a favorite event among the students!
Students considering entering the medical field have more opportunities than ever to get a head start,
such as taking biomedical courses or participating in a nursing assistant program.
Not all learning takes place in the classroom!
Many courses let students get out into nature--including
FVL's Foxtail Meadow Nature Preserve--for hands-on learning.
Student groups like Peer Leadership Group help with events for our local grade schools throughout the year!
It's a great way for these young students to get a feel for the FVL experience.
Pep rallies allow students to cheer on their peers
who participate in athletics or other groups!
