Softball-Summer League - 10U & 12U TRYOUTS

Season - Summer 2025 FVL Force Youth Softball Teams 

Register for Tryouts

Registration closes July 24, 2024.

• WHO:
  • Girls 10 or younger on September 1, 2024, then she should try out for the 10U team.
  • Girls 12 or younger on September 1, 2024, then she should try out for the 12U team.
     
• WHEN:
  • Season:
    • Begins in March 2025 (1 practice/week on Sundays with an additional practice on Wednesdays April-July)
    • May-July (5-6 local tournaments)
       
• COST: No Cost to Tryout. Financial & time commitment will come after teams are established.

Tryouts Details

• WHERE:
  • FVL Varsity Softball Field
     
• WHEN:  
  • Saturday, July 27:
    10U from 9:00-10:30 AM
    12U from 10:30-12:00 PM
     
  • Wednesday, July 31:
    10U, 12U, and 14U from 5:00-6:00 PM
     
• What to bring if tryouts are outdoors:
  glove, helmet, cleats, softball pants, fielding facemask (optional bat)
   
• What to bring if weather forces tryouts indoors:
  glove, helmet, gym shoes, facemask
   

Tryouts are intended to help us place all players on an FVL youth softball team. The number of teams will be determined by the number of players who try out. 

Please share if the player trying out has any pitching or catching experience, or is willing to learn either of those positions.
