2027 Softball Summer League: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U TRYOUTS 

Season - Summer 2027 FVL Force Youth Softball Teams

• No Cost to tryout
• Must register in order to tryout
• Financial and Time commitment will come after teams are established
• Registration closes July 17, 2026

Outdoor needs: glove, helmet, cleats, softball pants, fielding facemask, bat
Indoor needs (if weather forces inside): glove, helmet, gym shoes, facemask

WHEN:

The main tryouts for 8U, 10U, & 12U will happen on Wednesday, July 22. 

• 8U   - Main Tryouts 3:00-4:30 PM
• 10U - Main Tryouts 4:15-5:45 PM
• 12U - Main Tryouts 5:30-7:00 PM
• 14U & 16U - Makeup date tryouts 6:45-8:15 PM

The main tryouts for 14U & 16U will happen on Wednesday, July 29.

• 8U, 10U, 12U - Makeup date tryouts 4:00-5:30 PM
• 14U & 16U - Main Tryouts 5:15-6:45 PM

Players are encouraged to get to the field early to warm up (throw and stretch) on their own.

• Players will receive Team Invitations via email by noon on Friday, July 31, 2026.
• Players will need to accept/decline the invitation by midnight on Saturday, August 1, so that other players can be asked to fill the team if necessary.
• We hope to have ALL team decisions made no later than Tuesday, August 4.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Other team details to consider:

• Non-refundable cost to play MUST be paid as part of accepting the Team Invitation:
  • 8U $300
  • 10U $450
  • 12U $600
  • 14U $600
  • 16U $600
• Fees cover tournaments, leagues, team equipment needs, umpires, one new jersey, year-round facility usage, etc.
• We offer a $100 discount for families with multiple players in the program.  
• Off-season practices start in September. In-season practices start in March.
• Based on interest, a fall and/or winter tournament will also be offered for teams.

Age Deadlines: 

• 8U players must be 8 years old or younger before September 1, 2026.
• 10U players must be 10 years old or younger before September 1, 2026.
• 12U players must be 12 years old or younger before September 1, 2026.
• 14U players must be 14 years old or younger before September 1, 2026.
• 16U players must be 16 years old or younger before September 1, 2026.
