NEW 2025 SUMMER CAMP Flight Camp (Grades 6-8)
2025 Flight Camp
Be a part of FVL's first Flight Camp!
This camp will explore the physics and flight characteristics used by real engineers and pilots. Campers will learn about weight distribution, stability, and construction techniques to build and take home their own gliders and rockets. Campers will also learn to use flight controls to achieve stable flight, take-offs, and landings in our new flight simulators. We will end the week with a field trip to observe air-traffic-control directing planes to the world's largest airshow - FISK at EAA AirVenture.
Max number of students is 18.
Who: Any boys or girls entering grades 6-8 in the fall of 2025.
Where: FVL STEM Lab
When: July 15-19, 2025 (Tuesday - Saturday)
Time:
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Tuesday - Friday)
- 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Saturday - Field Trip to FISK)
What is FISK?
Cost: $50 per participant (Includes gliders and rockets - made during camp)
