Basketball-FVL Boys Hoops Club
FVL Boys Hoops Club
The FVL Hoops Club provides opportunities for boys in grades 3-8 to learn basketball skills, team concepts, and character development in a fun, competitive, Christian environment.
Families will need to create a free team snap log in account to register, and registration closes on Sunday, September 14.
2025-26 Hoops Club Information
Parent Meeting
There will be a Parent Meeting on Sunday, October 5 at 1:30 PM at FVL. We will introduce coaches, cover the program philosophy and season schedule, and order uniforms.
3rd- 5th Grade
- Practice begins Sunday, October 5 from 12:00-1:30 PM.
- The team will practice 1-2 times per week. Schedules will be shared at the Parent Meeting.
- Typically, teams play FAYBL Saturdays in November & December.
- The team will play in six tournaments beginning in December and concluding at the end of February. The goal is to play in two tournaments per month.
- Cost: $225 + uniform costs
- Athletes will be divided into A & B teams based on tryouts.
- If there are not enough players for two teams, a few cuts could be made. Refunds will be made if athletes do not make the team.
6th-8th Grade
- Tryouts are Sunday, October 5 (see below). Athletes will be placed on teams according to these tryouts. If numbers dictate, we will have two teams per grade.
- Teams begin to practice the first week of October. You can expect 1-2 practices per week.
- Typically, teams play FAYBL Saturdays in November & December.
- Typically, teams will begin tournament play after Christmas.
- Cost: $225 + Uniform Cost
- Tryouts - Sunday, October 5
- Grades 6-8 - 2:30-4:00 PM
- Athletes will be divided into A & B teams based on tryouts.
- If there are not enough players for two teams, a few cuts could be made. Refunds will be made if athletes do not make the team.
