FVL Boys Hoops Club

The FVL Hoops Club provides opportunities for boys in grades 3-8 to learn basketball skills, team concepts, and character development in a fun, competitive, Christian environment. 

Families will need to create a free team snap log in account to register, and registration closes on Friday, September 20.

2024-25 Hoops Club Information

Parent Meeting

There will be a Parent Meeting on Sunday, October 6 at 1:30 PM at FVL. We will introduce coaches, cover the program philosophy and season schedule, and order uniforms.

3rd- 5th Grade

• Practice begins Sunday, October 6 from 12:00-1:30 PM.
• The team will practice 1-2 times per week. Schedules will be shared at the Parent Meeting.
• The team will play in six tournaments beginning in December and concluding at the end of February. The goal is to play in two tournaments per month.
• Cost: $225 + uniform costs
  • Athletes will be divided into A & B teams based on tryouts.
  • If there are not enough players for two teams, a few cuts could be made. Refunds will be made if athletes do not make the team.

6th-8th Grade

• Tryouts are Sunday, October 6 (see below). Athletes will be placed on teams according to these tryouts. If numbers dictate, we will have two teams per grade. 
• Teams begin to practice the first week of October. You can expect 1-2 practices per week. 
• Throughout November & December, teams will play in the FAYBL league. 
• Teams will begin tournament play after Christmas.
• Cost: $225 + Uniform Cost
