Academic Policy - Graduation Requirements
Graduating in 2018 or earlier
Students graduating in 2018 or earlier must meet these minimum requirement of 24 credits:
- Religion - 4 credits
- English - 4 credits
- Practical & Professional Arts - .5 credits
- Physical Ed. - 1.5 credits
- Health - .5 credits
- Fine Arts - 1 credit
- Mathematics - 2 credits
- Electives - 4-12 credits
- Science - 2 credits (Biology required)
- Social Studies - 3 credits (US History & US Government required)
In addition, all seniors must pass the Civics Test according to Wisconsin Law Act 55. This is administered as part of the US Government course.
Graduating in 2019 or later
Students graduating in 2019 or later must meet the requirement of an additional credit in math (need a total of 3 credits) and in science (need a total of 3 credits). Total required credits for graduation are 26.
In addition, all seniors must pass the Civics Test according to Wisconsin Law Act 55.
Note: For a class to be counted for credit, a passing grade of D- or better must be earned. Transfer students may be exempted from some requirements.
Students enrolled in the Guided Studies program are permitted to graduate with 24 credits as long as all required credits have been earned.
