02 - Counseling and Guidance
The Guidance Department assists all students in many areas. In addition to providing encouragement and support, the department helps with course scheduling, standardized testing, career and college planning, employment opportunities, scholarship applications, and FAFSA support. Guidance staff members are prepared to assist students in matters related to friends, teachers, parents, or self in strict confidence. Whenever possible, students are encouraged to make appointments.
Christian Family Solutions provides counseling services to FVL students and their families at no cost. Referral by the Dean of Student Life is required to be a part of this no-cost program.
