03 - Required Assessments
Teachers may require assessments that must be satisfactorily completed in order to earn credit for the semester. These required assessments, where possible, should be identified in the course syllabus distributed at the beginning of the course. In certain instances, particularly where performance and participation represent a majority of the calculated grade, all course assessments may be required.
Unfinished required assessments will be checked as MISSING in the Skyward gradebook until complete.
Unfinished assessments may result in an Incomplete (INC) for the course until satisfactorily completed. If required assessments have not been completed by the end-of-semester grading deadline, the student will receive a failing grade for the semester and will not earn credit.
