If a student is ill or will be missing school for other unanticipated circumstances, parents are to call the school. The same is true if a student will be late to school. If the call is placed during non-office hours, the recorded message will offer an option for attendance. Please leave a voice message that includes the parent caller’s name, the student’s name and grade level, and the reason. An email to attendance@fvlhs.org is also acceptable. The Attendance Coordinator will call parents of students who have not reported to school by mid-morning.
