10 - Lunch/Food Service Program
FVL offers breakfast and lunch programs. To participate in these programs, parents must make online payments through Skyward Family Access. Students use their FVL ID card like a debit card to make purchases against their balance. A minimum deposit of $20 is required at the beginning of the year to open a student account. Students may be limited in what they can purchase for lunch if they fall below $0. Negative balances must be brought up to a minimum of $10.
Students may bring a lunch from home. Parents and their children are responsible for proper care of that food. Microwaves and snack machines are available in Commons. Soda, chips, and candy machines are closed during the lunch periods. Juice and fruit machines are always open. Food and beverages are to be consumed in Commons only. No food deliveries are allowed during the school day. Students are not permitted to leave campus for lunch, even with a note from a parent.
