School Policy - Textbooks
Fox Valley Lutheran supplies all the textbooks for the students. Books are distributed at the beginning of the term in each class. In the English classes, freshmen will be supplied with a Hacker Pocket Style Manual which is to be used throughout their time at FVL. Students will be required to replace this manual at their own cost if it is lost or damaged beyond use. Copies may be purchased at the School Office.
In English, students will receive one paperback book each year to practice skills of annotation and highlighting as part of their class work. Students are required to have the Concordia Self-Study Bible for their religion classes. Religious books, including catechisms and Bibles, are to be supplied by the student. They can be purchased at the School Office or brought from home. No school-owned textbooks are to be written in or defaced in any way. Students will be liable for repairs or replacement of damaged books.
Textbooks lost or damaged beyond use will be charged to the student at cost. Payments need to be made in the School Office. Book covers are suggested to extend the life of the book.
