FVL STEM Academy
In conjunction with the nationally renowned Project Lead the Way® STEM education program, the FVL STEM Academy gives students the opportunity to enroll in specialized STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) courses as well as rigorous general education courses. The goal is to provide graduates with the greatest opportunity for success in a post-secondary STEM programs.

It is not necessary to submit an extra application to participate in FVL's STEM program. Students may register for the STEM Academy classes when they register for their classes for the new school year.

Aerospace Engineering (AE) will explore the evolution of flight, navigation and control, flight fundamentals, aerospace materials, propulsion, space travel, and orbital mechanics. Students will also analyze, design, and build aerospace systems as they make connections to the future of the industry and their own professional goals.
Computer Science Principles (CSP) is a project- and problem-based course, with students working in teams to solve open-ended, practical problems that occur in the real world. The course will develop computational thinking, generate excitement about the field of computing, and introduce computational tools that foster creativity.
PLTW Distinguished School
Fox Valley Lutheran High School is proud to be recognized as a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished School! FVL is committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in our PLTW STEM education program.
Through PLTW programs, students develop STEM knowledge, as well as in-demand, transportable skills that they will use both in school and the rest of their lives. It provides high schools with a rigorous, relevant STEM education and an engaging hands-on curriculum.
FVL was one of only 12 high schools or school districts recognized in Wisconsin, and the only one in the Fox Valley area.
