August News - Athletics

There will be an All-Sports Parent Meeting on Monday, August 10 at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium. Plan on attending if you have a child who will participate in any sport at FVL this year. 

*The Fans of Foxes Committee is giving away two prizes to families in attendance!  One lucky family will win a Student Athlete Exemption Status for the 2026-2027 school year (8 hours volunteer value), and another lucky family will win a $50 gift card to the Foxes Locker. 

• VOLUNTEER HOURS
  All athlete families are required to create an account on our new tracking platform called Track it Forward. Emails were sent to all families on Wednesday, July 22nd.  Please refer to that email for all instructions and links. Any hours not completed from the 2025-2026 school year, or extra shifts that were worked, will be rolled over into your account once created.
   
• SUBMIT FORMS
  With fall sports beginning in August, please make sure you complete and submit all of your athletes' physical forms AND Skyward paperwork before the first day of practice/tryouts.
   
• RECOGNITION OF SOFTBALL STATE CHAMPIONS
  Mark your calendars: FVL will recognize our State Champion Softball Team at our first home football game on Friday, August 21 at halftime.
