No Frills Fall Classic
Reduced Price to Play!
Join us on the golf course for an event that will help defray costs for the FVL students who are participating in the Meros Center Project (about $5,000 per student), and will also benefit Pillars, Inc. in Appleton.
This inaugural golf outing is only a few weeks away. Consider putting a team together and helping to raise money for these two great causes. The entry fee has been reduced to $600/foursome ($150 per person).
Why is it called "No Frills"?
There are no game cards, no add-ons, and no additional costs. It is a day to enjoy golf, each other's company, and to support FVL and the local community.

We are blessed to be located in northeastern Wisconsin! This community offers wonderful resources to FVL and to our families, and we are interested in giving something back! To accomplish this goal, we are hosting a fall golf outing where proceeds benefit a different local community organization each year, as well as FVL and our students.
Event proceeds for 2024 are split between the below-listed projects/organizations.
Pillars
From homelessness to coming home, Pillars provides shelter, support and solutions to address the housing needs in the Fox Valley. They serve approx. 1,900 individuals and families annually with services along the housing continuum, including a prevention program, outreach, two shelters, a resource center, case management, and supportive and affordable housing programs. Learn more at pillarsinc.org.
Meros Center Project
In 2024-25, FVL is participating in an exciting pilot-year program. Four FVL students and two faculty advisors are taking three courses through Wisconsin Lutheran College in preparation for international health ministry research work they will do in the summer of 2025. A Meros Center partner will be working with them as they do their research. Once the research is complete, the intent is to publish the findings in an effort to meet the health and spiritual needs of world missions.
The approximate cost per student for classwork training and travel is $5,000. Money raised from the "No Frills" Fall Classic will directly help offset these costs.
