Ways to Give

There are multiple factors to consider as you decide how to support the Christian education of teens at FVL.

Do you want to see the results during your lifetime, or do you want this support to be shared after God has called you home?
What will be most effective way to provide your support, considering your personal financial situation?
Can this process involve and teach your children and grandchildren about the importance of supporting ministry?

To help you as you consider your giving options, some of the most commonly used contribution methods are listed in the accordion tabs below.

Many of our supporters choose to make a one-time or recurring donation online, or to have memorials directed to FVL. You can choose to support a specific project, donate in memory of a loved one, or give to FVL's overall ministry by clicking the link below.

SCRIP

When participating in the SCRIP Program, you purchase gift cards and certificates from FVL that can be used like cash. Choose from hundreds of restaurants, retailers, and businesses and pay with SCRIP.

SCRIP allows you to bank tuition credit for your student or future FVL student. Each retailer has a predetermined rebate, and the rebate amount goes directly to FVL. You decide where a portion of that rebate goes, whether it be a current/future FVL student's tuition, FVL Tuition Assistance, or cash back.

If you purchase Amazon.com scrip, you can use the Amazon Smile login (information below) to have an additional donation go to FVL.

The Bargain Garden Thrift Shop

In operation since 1992, this all-volunteer group provides 90% of its proceeds to support FVL-- $790K towards equipment purchases, tuition assistance, debt retirement, and building fund. Another $76K has been directed to WELS charities. Sales since Day One of operation total over $1.6M.

Store hours are 9 am - 4 pm daily. Thursday offers extended shopping hours until 8 pm and Saturday hours run 9 am - Noon.

Normal store days have two shifts of workers, Thursday evenings means three shifts of workers, and Saturday's short hours have only one shift. About 100 volunteers fill those shifts. Volunteers come from the entire Federation of churches that own and operate Fox valley Lutheran High School.

Amazon Smile

Amazon Smile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organizations selected by customers.
