Whether you are new to the FVL family or a returning veteran, join us for a high-energy evening designed to connect you directly to your student's daily school experience.

Event Schedule - SEPTEMBER 16, 2026

New Parent Orientation
6:00–6:45 PM | Auditorium

• Arrival: Please arrive between 5:45 and 6:00 PM to pick up materials in the Auditorium lobby.
   
• What to Expect: A fast-track guide to the school year from our Administration, Guidance, and Student Life teams. We will cover key resources, campus services, and communication tools. (Returning parents wanting a refresher are welcome!)

Meet Your Teachers Night (All Parents & Guardians)
7:00–8:32 PM | Start in Commons

• Arrival: Beginning at 6:45 PM, pick up your student's printed schedule in the Commons.
• What to Expect: Experience a night in your student's shoes! You will walk their exact period-by-period schedule, meet their teachers face-to-face, and learn about classroom expectations. Classes are just 8 minutes long with 4-minute passing periods—and no pop quizzes!

Bell Schedule

• Period 1: 7:00–7:08 PM
• Period 2: 7:12–7:20 PM
• Period 3: 7:24–7:32 PM
• Period 4: 7:36–7:44 PM
• Period 5: 7:48–7:56 PM
• Period 6: 8:00–8:08 PM
• Period 7: 8:12–8:20 PM
• Period 8: 8:24–8:32 PM

Faculty and staff will be available after the final period to answer any additional questions before you head home.

Parking

Please park in the east parking lot and enter through the Commons Entrance (Door K) near the football field.
